The Mill

For almost 250 years the mill has stood tall on the reed fringed banks of the River Thurne.  Gazing over the flatness of the Horning marshes, it’s job to drain the water so crops could be grown and cattle grazed.  Once left to decay, now fully restored.  The sails provide a roost for Cormorants.

  1. Nice Shot! – really like all the character you were able to get in the sky and appreciate the nice tones you kept in the shot. They are quite majestic, much like our lighthouses here.
