23rd of April.  Another trip to Foulden Common and this time I struck lucky spotting 3 grizzled skippers.  These are rare butterflies in Norfolk, known only at two sites, and in small numbers.

These are Britain’s 2nd smallest butterfly and a joy to see.  They are the earliest of the skippers to emerge.
